Welcome to my website, Ellen Woodside Elementary students! I am so glad you are here.
This is my third year as a school counselor at Ellen Woodside. Previously, I was a school counselor at Woodmont Middle, Sevier Middle, and T.L. Hanna high school. I love working with students of all ages!
I want you to know that you are loved and valuable. Your thoughts and feelings matter! If you ever have questions, need help solving a problem, or just want someone to listen, I am here for you!

I came from a big family; I am the oldest of six children.
I grew up in Maine. For several years, we lived in a log cabin that my dad built.
After getting married, my husband and I lived on the tropical island of Guam (Pacific Ocean) and taught in a private multicultural school.
We have two girls, pictured below, who are now taller than I am and attending college.
I graduated from Clemson University. Go Tigers!
This picture was taken after my
youngest daughter's high school graduation.
One summer our family vacationed out west. This picture shows a famous butte called West Mitten in Monument Valley, Navajo County, Arizona.
