About me:

The boring stuff - I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee (GO BIG ORANGE!). I have a Master's degree in Education from Lee University and working on my doctorate degree from Converse University. I am originally from Cleveland, Tennessee and moved back to Greenville two years ago. This is my 6th year of teaching after working for years in industry as an engineer and a manager.

The fun stuff- I love golf! I will golf any time and any where I can. I'm terrible but it's my way to relax. I also love watching college football, yes I cheer for the Vols and for Clemson (my husband's alma mater). I love to travel and have been all over Europe and some in Central America and Cuba. I have also traveled to 40 of the 50 states, living in 7 of those (NY, NJ, CA, OH, KY, SC and TN). Odd fun fact, I love collecting foreign currency.

My husband and I have been married 31 years and I have one son, Geoffrey, who attends Greenville Tech and is majoring in Engineering Design. We also have a fur ball of energy cat named Oliver. You will hear lots about him!
