Hi there! I consider it a privilege to be your Social Studies teacher!

This is my 4th year teaching Social Studies at Bryson Middle. (Last year I was in the Virtual Program.)

I taught High School Social Studies for 27 years before landing in Greenville County Schools. I taught in Virginia Beach, the Washington, D.C. area, and Wilmington, NC.

I grew up in Virginia Beach and earned a B.A. from Virginia Tech--GO HOKIES! I am currently enrolled in a Masters of Teaching degree at the University of South Carolina.

I am married to the love of my life, Mr. Dave Chesek. We moved to Simpsonville in June 2018.

I am Mama to 4 young adults and Mimi (grandma) to 3 adorable little ones.

Some of my hobbies include watching documentaries and HomeTown, rearranging furniture, petting dogs and cats who are willing, and eating popcorn.
