I believe a good teacher has a powerful faith in the future. I know that students do not all learn in the same way or at the same rate, and I believe it is my responsibility as a teacher to be an effective evaluator of students’ interests, abilities, and prior knowledge. I am passionate about providing a learning environment that encourages every student to thrive.
I’ve called Greenville home since I was 12 years-old. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the College of Charleston and a degree in Paralegal Studies from Greenville Technical College. Before transitioning to teaching, I worked for 20 years as a paralegal.
My husband, Vladimir, and I are proud parents of two sons. Our oldest will be starting college this fall, and our youngest will be a high school junior in Greenville County Schools.
Our family also includes two adorable dogs and three precious cats (gifted to us by the cat distribution system).
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, relaxing at the beach, gardening, and embroidering.
