I’m Sarah Carroll, and I’m excited to begin my 30th year of teaching mathematics in South Carolina! I’m a proud graduate of Riverside High School and have had the privilege of teaching here for 17 years, with a small break in between to raise my two boys. To say I’m a Warrior through and through is an understatement!
Riverside has been a big part of my family for many years. Both of my sons attended Riverside and participated in several sports, including football. My oldest is beginning his sophomore year at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, while my youngest is starting his freshman year at Clemson University. Needless to say, we are now officially a house divided! 🐔🐯
When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll most likely find me enjoying the outdoors. I love walking, hiking, and especially horseback riding. I also enjoy reading and cheering on my favorite college football teams—although Saturdays at our house will be a little more interesting this year!
I’m so excited for another great year at Riverside and look forward to getting to know my students, helping them grow in mathematics, and making this another great year to be a Warrior!
