Meet Mrs. Burnette

I am super excited to be a member of the League Academy team this school year!  I have taught for over 20 years and I am glad to have the opportunity to work with middle schoolers again.  Math has always been my favorite subject when I was in school and it has always been my favorite subject to teach.  I enjoy the conversations with students about what strategies they have used to solve problems.

I am originally from Greenville, SC.  I live in the Taylors area with my husband Steven.  We share our household with 5 dogs and 2 cats.  They are a handful, but we are at peace knowing they have a safe place to live and thrive!  (RD is in the background of that picture because he is the oldest male and the protector of our pack.)
