I have a degree in Elementary Education from Lander University. I am also certified in Early Childhood Education. I have a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in literacy from Furman University.

I am the lucky mom of a daughter, Kathleen, who is a student at SCAD, and a son, Parker, who is a student at Toccoa Falls College. Mr. Buchanan also has two sons, Nick and Matt, who are out in the working world. Our newest family member Is our sweet grand baby, Christopher. Add our mini Aussie Doodle, Georgia, and it's a lot fun when we all get together
When I am not at PRES, I love spending time with family and friends. I like to travel, shop, read, and cook! My newest loves have been mahjong and pickleball. I also enjoy volunteering in our community.
