Hello there!

Hello there! I'm Kailey Beck and I'm so looking forward to starting my fourth year here at Travelers Rest High School. 

 I'm originally from Ohio but have lived in the Carolinas since 2012. I'm entering my 15th year of teaching. I previously taught in Spartanburg District 7, where I worked at the alternative school and with their GED programs for the prior 8 years. My husband and I live on a small horse farm with a mountain view in Landrum (a dream come true for two Midwesterners who grew up surrounded by corn fields). We are very outdoorsy and enjoy riding our horses, hiking with our dogs, and working around the farm. When I'm not at school or the farm, you can typically catch me with a barbell in my hands, at a concert, or reading/writing in a coffee shop.
