Mrs. Becker

Education: 

I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and my ELL/ESOL Endorsement.  I taught in Florida for 15 years; 5 years in 2nd grade and 10 years in 3rd grade. I also taught 4th grade at Chandler Creek Elementary in 2020. This will be my 5th year teaching ML students here at Woodland Elementary.

Family:

My husband and I have been married for 20 years, and we have a son named Brantley.  He will be in 7th grade this year!  We moved to South Carolina during the summer of 2020.

Fun Facts:

• My favorite color is blue.

• I love Starbucks coffee.

• Peanut M&M's, Twix, and Snickers are my favorite candy.

• My favorite book is "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane," by Kate DiCamillo.

• I love cats and dogs.

• I am a GATORS fan (University of Florida).

• I am Cuban.

• I can speak, read, and write in Spanish.

• The beach is my happy place.

• My family and I love to travel.
