My name is Laney Stephenson Becerra, and this is my sixteenth year teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and my first year at Hughes Academy. I have been a MLP teacher with Greenville County Schools since 2019.
I have a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Missouri, +30 from University of California-San Diego, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and German from the University of South Carolina. I am originally from Greenville, but I lived in Germany for many years and have traveled to over 20 countries. I live in Greenville with my family and our two cats.
