About Mrs. Baldwin

My name is Pamela Baldwin and I am a 1973 graduate of Illinois State University. I was born and raised in Watseka, Illinois. I started teaching in 1973 and married my husband John in 1975. I have 2 children. I also have 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson. My daughter Jennifer is 39 years old and is a structural engineer in Atlanta, Ga. My son John is 35 and studied biology at Clemson. He is currently working computer front end designer.

In my over 40 years of teaching I have taught grades 1 through 8 and reading lab. I very much enjoy my teaching career and do not plan to retire until it is no longer fun to get up and come to work each day. I have taught in the states of Illinois, Kansas, New Jersey, California, and South Carolina. I am considered highly qualified in Middle School ELA and Social Studies and Elementary Education based on classes I have taken.

I am currently team captain for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. I have attended several Relay University training workshops and look forward to another successful fundraising year. I am also on the Event Leadership Team. Please feel free to join the East North Street Academy Relay Team. The address is www.Relayforlife.org/greenvillesc.

My philosophy is you are never too old to learn, thus I continue to take professional development classes to keep current on the latest teaching trends. I am really looking forward to this school year with our theme Mrs. Baldwin's Bunch.
