I graduated from North Greenville University in 2019 with my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies where I focused on Education and Psychology. I graduated in 2021 with my Masters of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have been working in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy for the past 6 years. This is my second year teaching and I am very excited to continue teaching at Eastside! I am hoping to bring my years of experience in behavior analysis to help our students to grow this year.
I have been married to my husband, Sam for three years. We have a beautiful little girl named Charlotte. She is 2 years old and growing so fast! We are enjoying being a family and watching her grow. I am really looking forward to meeting each of you and having a great school year!
I graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education. I am certified in Multi-categorical disabilities and Learning Disabilities. I previously taught students with varying disabilities at J. L. Mann Academy for seven years, where I met my husband Mike, who is now retired from being a principal for 20 years.
For eight years, I was a stay-at-home mom with my three children, Liam , Aidan, and Hope. I returned to teaching in 2012 at Eastside High School. Before I became a teacher, I spent every summer (20+ years), at a camp for individuals with mental disabilities that my father started back in 1968, Camp Spearhead. It was at camp where my love grew for those with special needs and my passion to become a Special Education Teacher began. While I was a stay-at-home mom, I began a photography business. Hopefully you will see my love for photography throughout the year. In addition to photography, I love to read, exercise and spend time with my family.
