I was born and raised in the Upstate of SC. I traveled up the mountain to attend college at Appalachian State University where I studied English Secondary Education. I am returning to the classroom for the first time in six years. I previously taught high school English for GCSD and taught bedside at the Prisma Health Children's Hospital - Upstate. I most recently served students and their families as a Site Coordinator for Communities In Schools at Lakeview Middle School. I am an avid reader. I love spending time outdoors with my family gardening, hiking, fishing, and exploring. I am passionate about helping young people grow into the best versions of themselves and excited to invest in the students and community of Hillcrest Middle School!
