I grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. After high school (Go Lincoln-Way Knights!), I was in the Navy for 6 years and got to live in Florida, Hawaii, California, and Spain.
I have an Associate's degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Special Education: Learning Disabilities, and a Master's degree in Elementary Education. Last year, I completed my ESOL endorsement. I love learning and helping students learn!
When I'm not teaching, I love volunteering, kayaking, traveling, and learning new languages. I currently speak English, Spanish, and French, and am learning Catalan, Danish, and Arabic! Never stop learning!
I have been with Greenville County Schools since 2015. I subbed at over 25 Greenville County Schools, teaching all classes from Kindergarten to 12th grade before I was hired full-time at Northwood Middle School. Before coming to Berea in 2024, I was at Wade Hampton High School. Looking forward to another AWESOME year ahead with the Berea Bulldogs!
