About Me

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I am so excited to work with you and your children. It's going to be a year full of learning, fun, and adventure and I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us. I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. 

I am married to my husband, Tony Willis. We have two dogs Nala who is a 3 year old German Shepard and Fatboy who is a 8 year old Pitbull. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are reading, hiking, and anything to do with Disney. 

I am from Columbia South Carolina and recently moved to the Greenville area 11 years ago. I have a big family as I am one of seven children. the majority of my siblings have graduated college, but my youngest sister will be starting 10th grade this year, at a school in Columbia. I graduated from Clemson University with a BA in History and University of South Carolina Upstate with a BA in education.  

This is my third year of teaching. I absolutely love teaching social studies and middle schoolers. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I try everyday to teach with a passion, for my subject, so that students gain the skills they need to become life-long learners both in the classroom and out.
