Kindergarten Teacher
This is my thirty-first year teaching (thirtieth in kindergarten). Before the opening of Rudolph Gordon Elementary, I taught at Summit Drive Elementary in downtown Greenville for thirteen years. I am a Furman University graduate with a B.A. in elementary and early childhood education. I also have a Master's Degree from Furman as a reading specialist. I am a National Board Certified teacher in the area of Early Childhood. I am a Third Evaluator for the school district which gives me the opportunity to observe and evaluate second-year classroom teachers. I live in Fountain Inn with my husband, Chet, and my dog, Sadie. My son, Spencer (23), is a Clemson University graduate and a wildland firefighter in Washington State. My daughter, Madeline (25), is a College of Charleston and MUSC Nuring School graduate. She is a cardiac ICU nurse in Charleston. They are former students at RGS.
