About Mrs. Whitener

My name is Chandler Whitener and I am so happy to be your child's teacher this year! This is my 7th year teaching and 3rd year as a Paris Panther! Paris has always been such a special place to my family...my sister and I were students here too! Before coming to Paris, I taught second grade for three years in Spartanburg before moving just outside Washington, D.C., where I taught second grade for one school year.

I grew up in Greenville and am a graduate of the University of South Carolina. When I'm not at school, I love to spend time with family and friends, try out new places to eat, read a good book, spend time on the lake, walk around downtown Greenville with my husband and baby boy, go shopping with my mom and sister, and cheer on the Gamecocks!
