I am so proud, privileged, and excited to serve as a school counselor at Bryson Elementary. This is such a wonderful community and a GREAT school. Prior to joining the Bryson team as counselor, I served as the assistant principal at Taylors and Oakview Elementary. I have also served as a teacher and counselor in Greenville County. I have taught elementary and middle school grades.

I had the honor of receiving the following awards during my years of service: National Outstanding Elementary Assistant Principal of the Year - 2014, South Carolina Elementary Assistant Principal of the Year – 2014, Oakview Elementary Principal PTA Outstanding Principal of the Year – 2014, Greenville County Elementary Assistant Principal of the Year – 2013, SeaWorld/Fuji Film/ Busch Gardens Environmental Award – 2004, Teacher of the Year – 2002, South Carolina Homeless Volunteer Award – 2001, and PTA Teacher of the Year – 1999. My job has allowed me to live my dream everyday: serving others – most importantly children.

I have an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Supervision and Administration and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Clemson University. I also earned my Bachelor of Arts from Clemson in Elementary Education. Go Tigers!

I live in Easley with my husband, Rick and daughter, Brooklee. We also have two adorable dogs, Bowman and Addy Lee. I enjoy going to the beach, decorating, church, and spending time with my family and friends. We are avid Clemson families that love to tailgate on Saturdays.

It is exciting to have the opportunity to work with the families and community of Bryson Elementary.
