Advanced Personal Finance (1 credit) course is an in-depth study of the principles of personal finance. Using experiential activities, students will learn tools and techniques to become financially literate living and working within a global marketplace.

Respect all staff, students, and class equipment and resources.
Be attentive during class, career tours, and labs (no sleeping or heads on desk)
Engage in discussions, lab, and class activities in a respectful manner
Abide by the SC Dept. of Education *NO CELL PHONE policy
Abide all policies outlined in our DCC Student Handbook.

2. Second offense- Contact parents
3. Third offense- Referral to Administrator

Minor Assignments 40% (Class Assignments, Quizzes, Employability Skills)
Major Grades 60% (Major Tests and Projects)
Final Exam will be given and will count 10% of final grade
Assignments and Grades:
Assignments are posted on the classroom board and in Google Classroom. Grades are updated in GCS Backpack (your student portal).
Grading:
100-90 = A
89-80 = B
79-70 = C
69-60 = D
59-50 = F
All work is expected to be completed and turned in by scheduled due dates.
Make-up work will be accepted for excused absences.
