Cell Phone Policy

• Cell phone use is prohibited in classrooms unless otherwise stated by a teacher.

• During the instructional time, cell phones must remain out of sight and in silent mode.

• Unless explicitly allowed by a teacher, headphones, earbuds, and other listening devices may only be used with permission.

• Cell phones must be placed in, backpacks, or another location away from students and their desks during tests and assessments.

• If students need to place an emergency phone call during the day, they should request to go to the main office to use an office phone.

• Students are subject to disciplinary action for having cell phones without permission.

1st offense Verbal Warning/Student/teacher discussion

2nd Offense Call to parent/guardian

3rd Offense Lunch detention

4th Offense Referral
