The online grade book system gives parents and students easier access to current grades. This system is real-time and reflects the students' most up-to-date grade information. Google Classroom grades may not reflect the most updated grades posted in PowerSchool; therefore, be sure to check the PowerSchool/BackPack grades.
You may see the following grade codes in the place of a numerical grade when necessary:
NHI - Not Handed In; a 50% will be calculated into the student's average for this assignment
GFA- below 50% - the actual grade on the assignment was below a 50% and the true numerical grade earned will be recorded in the comments section for that specific assignment.
ABS - the student was absent for the assignment and WILL NEED TO MAKE UP THE WORK; no grade is averaged in at this point.
EX - the student was excused from this assignment; the assignment will have no impact on the student's average
