About Me

I am so thrilled to be starting this new school year with everyone. I am originally from Gaithersburg Maryland and went to school for my undergraduate degree at the College of Charleston. Following graduation, I met my now husband and we moved up here to Greenville where he grew up. He is a teacher in the district as well. In Charleston I worked as an art teacher in a preschool and decided when I moved up here to pursue my M.A.T so that I could teach art in the district school system. This is my forth year teaching. 

A few of my favorite thing are ART, popcorn, almond milk lattes, mystery and thriller books, and playing with my son. He is 2.  My favorite color is PURPLE.

My hobbies include painting, traveling, cooking, reading, hiking, yoga, and hanging out with my husband, son, and friends. I look forward to creating artwork with all of you this year and seeing your creativity bloom!
