Behavior Plan

In the art room, students are expected to follow these four simple rules. Behavior is also monitored using our school wide code of conduct, Got GatorAIDE?  A stands for Attitude, I is for Integrity, D is for Dedication and E is for Effort.  Students were introduced to the rules and code of conduct on the first day of art class and will revisit as needed.  Both are posted in the room and our code of conduct is in various places around the school.  Procedures are discussed in depth at the beginning of the year and reviewed as needed. Behavior interventions in the art room involve taking a  short break from art making, a calm down corner and communication with parents/guardians.
