About Mrs. Saldarriaga

My name is Denise Saldarriaga and I am excited to be your child’s ML teacher this year! I graduated from Barry University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and my ESOL Endorsement. This is my 17th year teaching and my second year as the ML teacher at Rudolph Gordon.

My family and I moved to Simpsonville 5 years ago from Miami, FL. We have loved living here in Simpsonville and have loved being a part of the RGS community. I have been married to my husband, Juan, for 16 years and we have two boys together named Tyler (14) and Jake (12). We also have 2 cats named Solo and Chuck and a dog named Leia. In my spare time I love spending time with my family, hiking, and playing the piano.
