Hello!  My name is Melissa Rodriguez. I am looking forward to being your child's teacher this year.  This will be my 5th year of teaching and my second year at Brushy Creek. I earned a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University. I am very excited to be back at Greenville County Schools. 

I am married, and I had a wonderful Australian Shepherd named Bronco that unfortunately went to another home this summer. I love hiking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and trying new things. 

I am here to support you in any way I can. I am excited to have a small part in your child's education and help them achieve great things. I know this will be an amazing year!
