All About Me

All About Mrs. Riddle

Hi, Families!
My name is Betsy Riddle and I am so excited to be teaching at alma mater, Augusta Circle!!
I was born and raised right here in Greenville and have absolutely loved having the privilege of living in one of the best cities in the world!
I attended Coastal Carolina University and graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. In 2018, I earned my M.Ed. with a concentration in Literacy from Furman University. Literacy is truly my passion!
This will be my 11th year teaching in Greenville County Schools. For the last 10 years, I have been teaching in Travelers Rest at Gateway Elementary. I taught 2nd grade for my first 5 years and for the last 5, I have been in 1st grade. Most recently, I had the honor of serving my school as the 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year. I am so looking forward to teaching Kindergarten!

I love all things rainbow. When I’m not at school, I’m most likely at the closest Starbucks 😉or at a yoga class! My husband Ford brings out my outdoorsy side. Last spring we hiked in Joshua Tree National Park!
I am so excited for this school year! It's going to be a great one!

All About Mrs. Batson

My name is Susan Batson and I graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in elementary education. I taught for 5 years before staying home for 20 years with my children. I came back to ACE as a K5 aide and this is my 13th year.

I am married to Glenn and we have 4 children: Laura, Glenn (Kit), Emma (Mason), and Kathryn Ann. We have 2 grandchildren, Glenn and Rosie.

When I am not at school, you will find me with my family and friends, exercising, at a Clemson game, or at the beach.
