Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a reading club for 4th and 5th graders. It meets in the mornings twice per week from December through March. Members of the club read ten books from the South Carolina Children's Book Award nominee list. A selected team of students will represent MRES in a district-wide competition in the spring.
