Hello! My name is Mrs. Phillips, and I’m thrilled to be part of this school community as a passionate educator with a deep love for history and teaching. I was born in New Jersey and raised in the beautiful Florida Keys. I’m proud of my Sicilian and Puerto Rican heritage, which brings rich cultural perspectives to my classroom.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University, where I studied American History, Philosophy, and Political Science. I later earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University in Virginia.
Social studies has always been my favorite subject, and I feel incredibly fortunate to share that passion with students every day. I’m especially enthusiastic about teaching World History and helping students connect with the past to better understand the present.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy life with my wonderful family. I’m married and the proud mom of a daughter who is beginning her college journey at Anderson University. We also share our home with two dogs and three cats who keep things lively!
I look forward to a fantastic school year filled with learning, growth, and community!
