About Me

My name is Wendy Parker.  I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year.  I have taught 4K for 15 years.  I have been teaching at Slater Marietta Elementary School for 24 years and I love my job.  I earned a Bachelor's Degree from USCS and am certified in Early and Elementary Education. I am classified as Highly Qualified by the state of South Carolina to teach your child.  

I have been married for 23 years and have two children.  My daughter is an adult and finished with school, and my son is a Junior at Berea High School.  Besides teaching, I love to spend time with my family.  I also enjoy reading, searching Pinterest for new ideas, and shopping online.
