Calculation of Grades:
Major: 50%
Minor: 50%
Grading Scale:
A: 90 - 100
B: 80 - 89
C: 70 - 79
D: 60 - 69
F: 59 and below
Homework Policy
If students use their class time wisely, other side of preparing for a quiz or test, homework should be minimal and possibly none. Each day students are given 4-6 practice problems in class. They are given dedicated class time each day to work on the questions. One class period every weeks (approximately 240 minutes per month) will be dedicated to Mathia. Students should be able to complete their weekly Mathia assignments in class. The Mathia completion will be recorded weekly and aggregated at the end of the quarter to be calculated into one of the quarterly major grades.
*Students should prepare for tests outside of class by reviewing class activities, assignments, quizzes, and reviewing notes.
