I am Nancy Meece, and I am so excited and looking forward to my 13th year at Plain Elementary! I received my BA in Special Education/Learning Disabilities from the University of South Carolina and my M.Ed. in Literacy from Furman University. I am certified in Special Education, Early Childhood, Literacy Teacher, and Literacy Coach. Additionally, I have endorsements for R2S Literacy Teacher and Literacy Coach. This is my 21st year teaching. I have a passion for teaching, for my school, and for the local community!
My family enjoys camping in the mountains and at the beach. We also enjoy hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, river adventures, and most any outdoor activity.
I look forward to a wonderful year with your students.
