Meet the Teacher

Hello Families! My name is Claire Moore and I will be your child's second grade teacher this year. I am originally from Walhalla, SC, but I attended Lander University in Greenwood,  SC and graduated in 2022 and started teaching at REC the following Fall. In April 2023, I married my husband, Daegan and we have a dog named Helen. I'm so excited to meet you and work with your students to make the most out of this school year. Second grade is the best (I may be a little bias 😉) because we have SO much fun! I'm looking forward to ensuring your child has a successful year in second grade at REC!
