Homework Expectations

Students are asked to read at home for 20-30 minutes each night. Other assignments will be added throughout the year.

Students will be expected to participate in daily math practice in class. Each week, we will have a short quiz to assess their understanding. Students will also have a multiplication fact quiz every Friday. 

Each week students will study spelling words. They will be given the spelling words at the beginning of the week and have a quiz on Fridays.

Students will participate in various in class experiments and assignments. 

There are no social studies assignments at this time. Students will complete in class assignments including taking notes on their learning, quizzes, and tests.

Students work on writing in class and in small groups with their teacher. There is no writing homework at this time.
