Student Absences and Transportation Changes
When a student is absent, please send in an excuse. Students will have 5 days to make up any missed work. We can adjust this if your child is out for multiple days. If a student is out for a family vacation, they will need to make up the work when they get back. A vacation will not count as an excused absence. Any absences after ten require a doctor’s note. If your child has a change in transportation, he/she must bring in a note about the change, or you can send an email to the office or myself. I can not allow children to go home a different way without a note, phone call, or email.

Ausencias de estudiantes y cambios de transporte

Si un estudiante sale de vacaciones en familia, deberá recuperar el trabajo cuando regrese. Las vacaciones no contarán como una ausencia justificada. Cualquier ausencia después de las diez requiere una nota del médico. Si su hijo tiene un cambio de transporte, debe traer una nota sobre el cambio, o puede enviar un correo electrónico a la oficina o a mí mismo. No puedo permitir que los niños regresen a casa de otra manera sin una nota, una llamada telefónica o un correo electrónico.
