Hi 4th graders and parents! This is going to be a wonderful and exciting year at Simpsonville Elementary. I am looking forward to meeting my students and their parents. Together, I know we can make this an awesome year.
I have always wanted to be a teacher. I can remember when I was in the second grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I was the child that would take all the leftover work home for the summer and play school. I was blessed to have wonderful teachers. I hope to be an inspiration to your child.
I am a graduate of Erskine College. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have taught in middle school, but my love for teaching is in the 4th grade. This is my 23rd year teaching and my 10th year at SES.
I am a Tiger fan in football (Go TIGERS!!) and a Tarheel in basketball (GO HEELS!!). I came from a divided house. What can I say? In my opinion, I like the BEST of both sports.
I am married to a wonderful man named Bobby that I met at Erskine College 36 years ago. I have 2 wonderful children named Bobby and Reagan. Bobby is a student at Greenville Tech exploring the field of automotive technology. Reagan is a junior at Mauldin High. I also have a dog named Maggie. She is 2 and full of energy. She has a special talent. She can catch a frisbee like a boss.
I hope this is a good start in getting to know me better. I can't wait to get to know you more. My phone number is 864-355-8366. My email is Tlaemmel@greenville.k12.sc. Please feel free to shoot me a line when you have a question. I will do my best to get back with you as soon as possible.
