Hi! My name is Kristine Hinojos (E - no - hos). This is my fourth year at Oakview Elementary, but it's not my first year teaching! This is my 21st year teaching! I am coming most recently from Wichita, Kansas where I taught for 4 years. Before that, I was teaching in Texas for 14 years. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.
I moved here with my husband, Edward. Our son, Isaiah, also lives and works here. Our daughter, Gabriella, graduated from Kansas State University and is now attending law school at Lincoln Memorial in Knoxville. We're so happy to have both kids near us now.
We love sports! We follow the Texas Longhorns, the Kansas State Wildcats, and the Iowa State Cyclones (my alma mater). However, we are looking forward to supporting locally as well. I will cheer for Clemson and USC as long as they aren't playing one of the aforementioned teams! We are Dallas Cowboys fans, too!
I am so excited to be here at Oakview Elementary. My family and I have been enjoying getting to know the area more. We have had the opportunity to live in many different places, and we love to travel. We are finding we don't have to go far to find new and beautiful experiences here!
