About Mrs. Harvell

Hello Grove Family! My name is Joy Harvell. I am married to Rev. Michael Joe Harvell, founder and pastor of Grace Place Ministries in Greer. We have been married for 24 years and have two amazing daughters, Grace and Hope. Grace is 17 and Hope is 12. We live out in the country near Belton, SC. Our family enjoys going to the beach, watching movies and helping out at Grace Place. I graduated from Francis Marion University with a BA in Early Childhood Education. I also hold a Master's Degree in Reading from Grand Canyon University. I am considered highly qualified and have taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade. I have been teaching for 18 years, and this is my 4th year at Grove. I am so excited to be a part of the second grade team here, and I am looking forward to a wonderful school year.
