My name is Rachel Fountain and this will be my seventh year teaching and third year at Greer Middle School. I am originally from Michigan, where I attended Michigan State University...Go Green! 

In the fall of 2016, my husband and I moved to South Carolina to pursue our teaching careers. I completed the GATE program in 2020 with a concentration in middle level mathematics. Shortly after, I began my Master of Arts of Education in School Leadership at Furman University, graduating in the spring of 2023.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, reading, cooking, watching sports, spending time outside, and traveling back to Michigan to visit family on long school holidays.
