About Me

My name is Sarah Forrester.  This is my 20th (WOW!) year teaching and my 5th year in 3rd grade.  I taught 1st grade for fifteen years.  I am so excited about this year in 3rd grade!  I received my bachelors degree from University of South Carolina Upstate and my masters degree from Converse College.

My husband and I have 3 children; Dewey (14), Henson (12), and Margaret (8).  Margaret attends LFE (in 3rd grade), Henson attends Sevier Middle School (7th grade) and Dewey is a freshman at Wade Hampton!  When not in the classroom, I enjoy watching our boys play baseball.  Dewey also participates on a Robotics team , and had to opportunity to compete at the Worlds Competition in St. Louis, MO this past spring.  Margaret plays soccer and volleyball, enjoys watching her brothers and attending gymnastics class.  

We love watching college football and any kind of baseball.  Our sweet dog, Sarah J enjoys snuggling on the couch; while out wild and rambuncious puppy, Wrigley like to run around a play tug-of-war.
