About Me

Hi! My name is Kacey Dawson and I am one of two Computer Lab Managers at Oakview Elementary. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we live here in Greenville with our two children and dog. We moved here from a suburb of Syracuse, NY and I am a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. Go SU!

My son is a 4th grader at Oakview and my daughter is now in middle school! I absolutely love being a part of the Oakview family. Before teaching, I was a frequent volunteer and am currently still the PTA Communications Manager, which includes designing and managing the PTA website.

I love the fall, the beach & the mountains, coffee, classic country music, and spending time with my family playing board games, enjoying movie nights, swimming in our neighborhood pool, and exploring the area.

I am so thankful to join my technological background and communications skills with my love for children and encouraging their creative spirits. I feel blessed to get to know every single one of them!
