Hello everyone! I am so excited to begin my first year at Blue Ridge Middle School! This is my 13th year of teaching and I could not imagine doing anything else!Â
I am originally from a small town in Pennsylvania called Waynesburg. There, I attended Waynesburg University and received my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education English. My husband and I moved the Greenville area about 18 years ago where I attended Furman University and received my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. We now live in Taylors with our four children, Audrey (18), Dylan (16), Colton (13), and Bowen (9).
I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with your children! I became a teacher because I wanted to inspire children and help them reach their full potential. I want every child in my class to find success and I will do everything I can to make sure they achieve that success. This is going to be an amazing year!
