My name is Sharon Cochran.  I am a native of Greenville, SC, and graduated from Mauldin High School in the mid-nineties.  After high school, I obtained a B.A in Music from Bryan College in Dayton, Tenn. before returning to my hometown. After college, I worked in my father's law practice for over 14 years.  For the last few years at my dad's office, I was part-time, so I picked up jobs to help make ends meet.  I took care of my sister's children while she worked at the hospital, and I taught Music History and a Junior HIgh Chorus at Artios Academies. This was my first experience in the classroom, and it was quite a learning experience.  Eventually, I started subbing in Greenville County Schools. and that led to a full-time position at East North Street Academy.

I worked at ENSA for 6.5 years as a teaching assistant when I made the decision to go back to school to pursue a Masters Degree in Education-Special Education.  I graduate in November, 2023, and joined Sara Collins in June of 2024. I feel very blessed to be able to serve your children and your family.  Please, let me know if there is anything that I can do for you.

On a personal note, my husband Matt and I have been married for almost 22 years. Our daughter, Emily, just started her freshman year of college, and my son, Jacob is in the 8th grade.  Lewis is our furbaby.  He is a 3 year old Labradoodle, and he is our pride and joy!  In my "spare time,"  I love to watch the Georgia Bulldogs dominate college football. I also love to color in my coloring book, listen to the True Sunlight podcast, with Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell, originally the Murdaugh Murders Podcast, listen to BTS (proud Army), and lead worship at my church, Citylights.
