My name is Rebekah Carnahan, and I grew up in a rural area outside of Pittsburgh, PA. I received my BS in Secondary Education and my MA in Student Affairs. I'm certified in both Middle Level and Secondary Social Studies and ELA. I taught in Pennsylvania and Virginia before becoming a stay-at-home mom, and I was a sub for Greenville County Schools for 3 years once our boys were mostly grown. This is my seventh year serving Northwood's Knights as a full-time teacher, including one year in the virtual program (2020-2021).
My husband and I have 4 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, and 2 grandchildren, along with a mini chocolate Labradoodle named Coco Chanel and a Cavachon named Anne Shirley. For fun, I read, watch BBC mysteries, and take our pups for long walks.
