My name is Lynnette Bumgarner and I am your teacher this year!

Educational Background:

Graduated from Grand Valley State University in Michigan in 2005 with my degree in Elementary Education, Certified K-5th grade.

Graduated from Southern Wesleyan University in 2013 with my Masters Degree in Classroom Leadership.

Continued classes at Clemson University as part of the Master Teacher Program; going towards an Instructional Coach Endorsement.

In Michigan, I was a small group specialist for K5-5th grades.

In South Carolina, I have taught 15 years all at Gateway!

My first year I taught 5th grade all subjects.

I taught 1st grade for  nine years before moving to 2nd grade. 

I taught 2nd grade for four years before moving to 4th grade.

I am excited about teaching 4th grade Math and Science again this year!

I love football and cheer for University of Michigan and Clemson University.

I don't drink coffee at all! Yuck!

I love Honey Crisp Apples. Yum!

I love sushi, burgers, ice cream, steaks, popcorn and trail mix. I love to try new restaurants in downtown Greenville and Travelers Rest.

I enjoy working around the house and in my garden. 

My husband and I have been married for 17 years. We have 2 girls, one who is in elementary and one who is in middle school. We have a large older dog that thinks she's a lap dog and a four year old puppy that's even bigger and full of energy. 

My parents moved down here from Michigan a few years after we moved down. I have  a younger sister that still lives in Michigan with my niece and nephew.
