About Me

Hello and Welcome to my site!

My name is Lindsay Bissette and the 26/27 school year marks my 9th year at Woodmont and my 5th year as a teacher. I am excited to embark on this journey with you and share my passion for learning.

A little about me: I am originally from Pennsylvania but have been a resident of South Carolina for 17 years. I love to garden, spend time outdoors, read, and stay active. My husband and I also own a small photography and videography business located in Simpsonville, SC. I enjoy spending time with my husband Jim, our three adult kids, Kassy, Zach, and Chiara (not pictured), and our three fur babies, Kenzie (passed away June 2026) Storm, and Henry.

My goal as a teacher is to create a love of learning, foster a growth mindset, and encourage you that you can do hard things. I believe in the power of perseverance and the joy of discovery, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
