A known fact about me....I did not become an assistant principal to be a disciplinarian. Unfortunately, discipline comes with the territory.
What I want for every student.....become a hard-working, passionate citizen in our community. My passion is for learning, and I desire a learning environment for every student that is safe, respectful, and engaging. With that said, my philosophy on discipline is as follows.....
- Discipline is used for inspiring a change in behavior, so the misconduct does not occur again. Consequences are given to students.
- It takes a team to change ill behavior- Student, Parents, Teachers, and Administrators.
- I will listen to your reasoning.
- I will contact your parents.
