I Believe...
An expert in the field of education within mathematics
Uses their passion, compassion and years of perseverance
To center every moment around student self development, self discovery, and positive manifestation
So that they may create a foundation for themselves
To overcome obstacles that lead to positive growth and to manifest their joys and dreams.
I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to South Carolina six years ago. This year marks my fourth year of teaching! Since moving here, Fountain Inn High School has become home, and I look forward to spending my career uplifting my community and leaving a positive impact on my students' growth and confidence.
One of my favorite things about teaching math is how connected it is to the real world. It gives me the opportunity to create engaging, hands-on activities that challenge students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and see the value of mathematics beyond the classroom.
When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me outdoors or planning my next adventure! I've been with my husband since middle school and together we love skateboarding, rock climbing, camping (yes, even in the winter!), kayaking, and trying new plant-based foods.
As the year goes on, you'll surely discover more about me, my love for learning, and the excitement I bring to the classroom!
