About Me

My name is Coach Rogers and I know this year is going to be an amazing year at Ellen Woodside Elementary School. This is my 4th year here at EWE and I am so excited to be a part of the family.  I am originally from Buffalo, NY ( Go Bills!!)  where I have taught and coached (football, basketball, lacrosse)  at various levels.  I received my Undergrad/Masters in P.E. and Health at SUNY Brockport in NY.  I relocated to Greenville, SC with my wife in 2020. I love to be outside whether that is camping, hiking, kayaking, fishing.  My goal this year is for students to learn to love movement from our activities this year in PE. I consider myself lucky to be at EWE and I look forward to a great 2025-2026 school year!
