About Me

Hello. I am excited to be your biology teacher this year! This is my 20th year teaching science and my 2nd year teaching at Hillcrest High School.  I previously taught middle school science at Bryson Middle (12 years) and Hillcrest Middle (6 years).  I am also an alumni of Hillcrest High School.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from USC Spartanburg (USC Upstate) and a Master of Forest Resource Management degree from Clemson University.  I have an Education Specialist degree in School Administration from Clemson as well.

In addition to teaching, I like to spend time with my family and enjoy doing various outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking etc. 

My wife works for Greenville County Schools and has had a 30 year career in education.  I have a daughter who is a sophmore in college and a son who is a senior in high school.  Eduation is important to our family, and I look forward to you having a great year!
