Hello everyone!

My name is Mr. Long and I am excited to start  my 11th year teaching and my fifth year at Northwood.  I look forward to having a great year with lots of fun and while we challenge each other every day to become better historians and people.  

I am originally from Long Island, New York but have been here in Greenville for over twenty  years now.  I did my undergrad at High Point University and received my masters from Clemson University.

When my wife and I are not running our three kids around to multiple activities (Avery 12, Natalie 11, and John 9) we enjoy outdoor events, the beach and almost any sporting events we can watch or go too.
