Hello everyone!

My name is Mr. Long and I am excited to start eigth year teaching and my second at Northwood.  I look forward to having a great year with lots of fun and while we challenge each other every day to become better historians and people.  

I am originally from Long Island, New York but have been here in Greenville for over fifteen  years now.  I did my undergrad at High Point University and received my masters from Clemson University.

When my wife and I are not running around after our three kids (Avery 9, Natalie 8, and John 6 we enjoy outdoor events, the beach and almost any sporting events we can watch or go too.
